ack 11 – Find A Way

Hi everyone,

Track 11 in the Shackleton series — Find A Way — has just been released.

The Shackleton Project

For those of you who are new here, welcome aboard. This all started as a creative challenge: to tell the story of Shackleton’s epic Antarctic expedition through music. Instead of waiting for the album to be complete, I’ve been writing and releasing each track in the order of events from Shackleton’s own book, South — one song at a time.

Each single is built around emotion, story, and atmosphere — using real sound effects and instruments to transport you to the ice, the ocean, and the heart of this incredible survival story. When all the singles are out, Peter and I will release the full album — but for now, it’s one chapter at a time.

We’re nearing the end now.

Track 11 – Find A Way

This one took some thought. The obvious move would’ve been to launch straight into the 800-mile boat journey — the infamous open-sea crossing to South Georgia. But something about the moment before that trip felt too important to skip.

This is a song about choice. About the impossible decision Shackleton and his men had to make — stay and face certain death… or leave and risk dying trying.

A Snapshot of This Moment in History:

Antarctica, 1916.

 The Endurance has been destroyed.

After months adrift on shifting ice, the men have reached Elephant Island — a tiny rock at the edge of the world.

They’re off the ice… but far from safe.

 No one knows they’re alive.

 No rescue is coming.

Their only chance now is a desperate voyage:

800 miles across the world’s roughest seas.

 In a 22-foot lifeboat.

No radio. No map. Just hope — and Frank Worsley’s skill to guide them.

This is the moment they choose:

To find a way.

Find A Way is out now. Watch, listen, and take a moment to imagine the weight of that choice.

Thanks for following along on this journey,

 Tony
